Hi and welcome to the MrD Raceway- Slot Drag Racing website. After being introduced to Slot Drag Racing at the Slot Rally GB in September 2006, I was hooked on this exciting form of slot car racing. I have helped organise events and promote the hobby of scale Slot Drag Racing in the UK ever since. Of course, I've had a lot of help from the gang at MrC (Medway Rod and Custom Club, you know who you are) and other people along the way. In an effort to gain knowledge and experience, I've raced, with my Son Matt, in Malta, Germany and France, making valuable friends along the way. I completed the MrD Raceway Slot Drag Racing track in January 2011, with lots of help from the Rebel Rousers Hot Rod Club, MrC, Peter and June Johnson. Since then we've held several successful events in Chelmsford, Essex and Hoo, in Kent. We have small group of very knowledgeable racers who are always willing to help and assist newcomers. My aim is for this website to grow and be a place where we can all keep up with the latest news and events from this great hobby. Slot Drag Racing is fast, very addictive and good fun.
